Good jacket but fabric is tough and
Ordered for my son. He likes it and it will replace his old bionic he has had for years. It's a bit stiff tho and the fabric is rougher than before? I probably wouldn't wear it myself but he already took off in it, so there's that!

Too large, otherwise very nice!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I liked the product but it was too large. If I could exchange online I would have just swapped for a smaller size.

My brother lives in it!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought it as a gift for my brother, he absolutely loves it and lives in it! Especially in milder winters this is his go to jacket. This is the second one I have purchased for him, the previous one was from the Apex Bionic 2 series.

Fits waaay too loose/relaxed
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What happened to North Face's flattering tapered fit? The jacket itself is constructed well, nice materials. The fit is too loose and relaxed. Usually, NF medium size fits me perfectly. This item is cut like a 33 gallon leaf bag, not flattering at all, even considering room to layer.

Good item, but not my preference
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nice jacket and materials seem to be sophisticated, but runs a bit large and it's quite hard and coarse.

Best medium softshell on the market
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the Apex Bionic Jacket. It's the perfect midweight jacket, very versatile (you can layer underneath, or over with a larger parka for very cold weather), and rain proof. I've been buying the updated version of this jacket in both vest and jacket of the past 15 years. I've only changed because of changing in my personal sizing, and to have more colors. you could easily have this jacket for 10+ years.
