Rad pants

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

Way better fit than the older soft shells I used to wear religiously. Those were droopy butt. These are Nice and stretchy. Look good. Dry super fast. Hands are a squeeze in the upper front pockets but meh

Very lightweight, great quality product. Definitely worth the money. Would recommend to friends and family. Very sleek. I look forward to using these over and over again.

Was Hoping For Better

Used these for daily wear farming for a season. After six months the fabric was very thin, they were fraying at the ankle hem, and the front zipper had broken. I had another similar pair from a different company that lasted 10+ years of regular outdoor use (hiking/climbing/fishing/backpacking) followed by two seasons on the farm before they had to be retired. I like the pant but I wish they held up better.

Great Pants

As someone with a strong frame, standing at 6'4" and weighing 270 pounds, finding pants that fit comfortably can be a challenge. The Outdoor Research US Men's Ferrosi Pants, however, exceeded my expectations in every aspect. Fit and Comfort: The fit is true to size, and these pants accommodate my build perfectly. Often, pants can be too tight around the legs for someone with an athletic build, but these provide an excellent feel without compromising on comfort. They move with you, offering a great balance between snugness and flexibility. Breathability: One of the standout features of these pants is their breathability. They handle various activities and weather conditions superbly, keeping me cool and comfortable throughout the day. Whether hiking or just being outdoors, they maintain a pleasant temperature. Color Options: The variety of color options is impressive. Whether you prefer neutral tones or something a bit more vibrant, there's a choice for everyone. This makes them not only practical but also stylish for different occasions. Performance: I was initially concerned about these pants making noise during movement, but they pleasantly surprised me. They don't have that typical "swishing" sound that some outdoor pants have, making them ideal for activities where you want to stay stealthy or just enjoy the silence of nature. Overall: I highly recommend the Outdoor Research US Men's Ferrosi Pants. They excel in fit, comfort, and functionality, making them a versatile addition to any outdoor enthusiast's wardrobe. For anyone with a similar build to mine, these are a perfect choice that won't disappoint.

Best pants EVER

One of the best pair of pants I've owned from OR. However, they run a little long than the size label, but no factor in functionality.

Quick drying and great feeling!

Very comfortable, and durable pants, enjoy wearing these while hiking and seem to be resistant to snags from those sticker bushes you may run into. Additionally they have plenty of room for all the bending and flexing you need to do on the trail. Got caught in a sudden rain shower, and pants dried quickly.

Best ever pants for warm weather hiking

Bought for hiking in warmer temps - first was outing to SE Utah where used backpacking in Canyonlands Maze District and then on river trip on San Juan. They were perfect. Light, kept me cool in desert sun up to 90 degrees, comfortable with good stretch for scrambling, shed water well (e.g. splashing while in boat on river. Love 'em.
