Why We Like The Hardwear AP Pant
The Mountain Hardwear Men's Hardwear AP Pant tackles our bike commutes through the city, afternoon bouldering sessions, impromptu post-work nachos with our coworkers, and everything in between. Reflective strips under the cuff increase visibility on twilight bike rides home from the brewery, crag, or office, and we love the roll-up snap closure on the hem that keeps our pants from getting caught in the crankset.

Almost hits the mark
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
- Size Bought:
- 38w 30l
Very comfortable for hiking, however materials and build quality are not great. Fabric is piling and threads are coming undone after only a short time of use.

Pants that are actually the size stated
Buting online can be a challenge, especially clothes. These pants fit properly and are extremely comfortable. Pockets are a "normal" depth so keys and ohines wont fall out. Having 2 zippered back pockets are an added bonus. I likes them much i biught 2 more pair.

Not fit for climbing
These pants are advertised to do it all. If you plan on climbing in them, I’d suggest upsizing, unless skinny pants fit loose on you. Next to no mobility, or stretch. Not as advertised

Amazing pants buy them in all colours!
Great pants for everyday use. I work outside and wear them every day. I bought 2 more in other colors. The fit is perfect. I'm 5'11" 165lb and wear 32 x 32. Because you can roll and snap you can adjust them how you want.

Tough and stylish
Great trousers, built tough like a carhartt but still stylish for an evening night out. The top of the thigh area can be a bit snug, so I sized up and solved it.

Great pants
Love these pants. I'm 6'4" and order them in 38w 34L and they fit me perfectly. I consider these a mid-weight pant very well made and comfortable. I own 6 pair of these pants in different colors. Looks great either in town or on the trail. Highly recommend.

Men's Hardware AP Pant
These are tough. I look forward to taking them camping. They seem like they can stand up to rough treatment. I like the snaps at the bottom so you can keep them rolled up.

Not a good climbing pant
As a climbing pant, 1 star. The thighs in these are very slim, no gusseted crotch, and rigid fabric. As a climber, I work my legs a lot, so my thighs and calves are muscular, and they need room to flex and stretch. All this is a bad recipe when it comes to these pants. Oddly enough, even when not climbing, the thighs are so narrow they actually pull down on the waist. So they haven’t been functional around town either. I would recommend trying these on in person to ensure they’ll work for your body type and build. Then you won’t eat shipping two ways,

They don’t stretch and move with you
Not stretchy at all. You could probably get away with using these if you are really skinny but I run and hike a lot and have fairly muscular legs and they barely fit to the point that they are uncomfortable to wear and these pants don’t stretch and move with you.
