This is a horrible jacket it leaked from anywhere there was exposed stitching and then the water crept up and soaked the whole coat in a half hour.

I didn't keep this for two minor and one major issue. The minor ones: 1) The pockets are top-snap and not very comfortable to put one's hands in, which one usually wants to do in the rain—I wish they were diagonal at least (they also have no drainage holes and are not open to the interior so I assume they'd collect water if actually used); 2) The body is a bit loose compared to the shoulders and sleeves—I got my normal HH size and it was nicely slim up top but baggy below (so I couldn't size down). The major one: The hood is cut way too large without enough structure and sinching it does just that in a very awkward way; I can turn my head without the hood moving with me, which is super annoying if doing anything other than standing there—if they wanted the top to stick out like a visor, it needs some sort of additional structure and a way to tighten it (for a casual jacket like this, it should just be cut way smaller and not with almost enough space like technical shells that have space for a helmet). I do like the material and the aforementioned fit in the chest and sleeves (including the snaps at the wrist, which tightened it enough for me—but I have small wrists so this might be too snug for most) as well as the rear back vent.

This is the most classic, utilitarian jacket I had in my life. I am 5 11 and I bought size L. It is slightly roomy but you buy this jacket for use not fashion. The no nonsense approach of HH is exactly what I admire. It is comfortable and the lining makes it cozy. Highly recommend.
